can anyone give me some tips on doing really nice nails? im fine with getting the color consistent, but i wonder how people can get around the cuticle looking perfect, like those really nice looking swatches.

I have a terrible cuticle-picking habit, and I'm having a lot of trouble finding advice on how to stop it. Everything I read assumes cuticle biting is the problem and advises things like foul-tasting liquids to remind you to stop and such.
