So I got acrylic nails for the first time yesterday. The nails themselves are fairly nice, it's neat to have nails that don't break or chip the moment I do anything with them.
However, the manicurist completely destroyed my fingers. Nearly every finger has a cut, nick, slice, or irritation. Needless to say I won't be going back, but I'd like to know what I can do now to assure that my fingers heal quickly and the cuts don't become infected. I've been covering them with Neosporin, but I wondered if there are any tips for how to recover from a bad manicure you guys could share with me.
