I just found out that one of the girls who serves me at the local Starbucks was killed last night in an auto accident. I barely knew her, but I feel really cut up about it. I've got some guys here trimming our palm trees. The palm trees are tall. About 20 foot tall. And the guys discovered that their large extendable ladder doesn't reach to the brush they want to trim. I just got back from a PTA meeting where one of the members went on a ranting tirade that was incredibly offensive then stormed out of the room. God I hate people like that. GROW UP! Discuss issues like an adult not like a petulant 2 year old.
Man I wish she was here right now so I could punch her in the face. -
Am I mentor material?
I started mentoring a first grader at school today and discovered that this kid has no idea about how to read, I mean, my mind was blown at how much this child struggled. My son is in kindergarten, so going in I thought I'll just do with this kid what I do with my son, we'll read a book, I'll read the hard words and have the child sound out the ( Read more... ) -

I've just got back from a 10 day sojourn in LA. Went to the convention - it was great - boys looked hot. Well actually Jensen looked knackered, but it was a hot kind of knackered.
