Yay! In truth I have the victory because it only took me 40 minutes of wheedling and 2 escape attempts (both from Violet, unsurprisingly) for me to get both kitties in their carrier and take them to the vet for the final injections. 1. The kittens are doing so well. I worked from home today and had Violet's company for most of it, snoozing next to me on the sofa. They are now chasing one of their toy mice around like crazy creatures and keep running behind the TV with it. I had a lovely evening yesterday. I went out with two friends from choir to see the LSO under Haitink playing Beethoven 8 and 5. We had a great time - lots of nice food, wide-ranging debate and wonderful music. The orchestra were brilliant. It is so easy to churn out Beethoven 5 because it's such a popular work but they delivered it with skill ( Read more... )
