It's the 7th of July. One year ago today 52 people were killed and hundreds injured in terrorist attacks here in London as 4 bombs went off around our transport system. OMG, I am very excited!

One of our TV channels here, BBC4, is organising a huge 1,000 person choir to perform Tallis' Spem in Alium on June 10th and they're going to record it and make a documentary about the day. 1. The kittens are doing so well. I worked from home today and had Violet's company for most of it, snoozing next to me on the sofa. They are now chasing one of their toy mice around like crazy creatures and keep running behind the TV with it. We did Mozart's Mass in C Minor and the Requiem (on account of it being the 250th anniversary of the great man's death) with a *very* small choir. About 12 of us, in fact, plus soloists. Well, I'm making some progress with my girls I think. They will eat chicken out of my fingers now and purr when I stroke them, and sometimes just when I come in and talk to them which is nice.
