I got the result of my PCA back. I passed, thankfully, and the letter does say I'm up for review on 25th April ... 2009. I guess they're under such pressure, or it's been so long for me now on the benefit, that they're going to 18 months between such things.

Yay!

That's what the doctor conducting the PCA asked me a couple of minutes into it today. I replied with a mumble about something to do with last year's debacle and mentioned the recent benefits adjustment at some point too.

Still, it's done with now. I merely have to hope I don't get some stupid fuckwit at the DWP now who does the final assessment.

I'm just back from the dentists, which was a whole lot of un-fun. It was 'crown prep' which means them taking impressions of the tooth, for some reason a whole lot more drilling, and a temporary cap being put on. Right, so, I applied for Housing and Council Tax Benefits here in Fleet on 10th May 2007. My income has not changed by one penny since. Today I receive a letter that after last week's review they're deciding to change the amount of benefit I receive, including backdating it. Back on Wednesday or so I received this years request from the DWP for me to fill in an IB50 Incapacity For Work questionnaire. That's now all done, and I'm including a photocopy of the diagnosis I got from Frimley Park Hospital back in July. Yeah, my HC2 did actually turn up today. So on Monday I should start sorting out dentistry, especially given the state of one tooth in particular.

This also means that when, no, not if, I'm not leaving his office until I have it in hand, my GP gives me a prescription on Wednesday for 40mg/day of Cymbalta I can pick it up immediately.
