1. Discovery of a new Burmese restaurant! They're in a gritty corner of Larkin (& Turk), but have decent space, clean tableware, a large menu, and excellent mohinga! World-champion pizza-making right in my Bay Area. Alas, Tony Gemignani, who has been featured in several TV shows (including Food Network*), is unable to make his prize-winning Neapolitan pizza for lack of permit or variance on a wood-burning oven.
