Today I once again saw another "change your profile pic" meme on Facebook. What is it about this time? Animal abuse. Slacktivism sucks! Changing you profile picture doesn't accomplish anything. Who can honestly say that there isn't already "awareness" of this problem ( Read more... ) -

Running Just to Stay in Place

Mardi Gras Prep
Tomorrow our household will be holding our annual Mardi Gras party. I've spent a good bit of the day in prep. Aside from cleaning, I've also done a lot of cooking prep; like last year, I'll be making gumbo.
