The weather has been hot, and humid. That's old news to anyone who lives in the Ohio River Valley. It seems like the days have simultaneously been flying by and moving in slow motion.

The last checklist was a general reminder for myself of what I had to get done this year. Now it is getting time to focus in on specific things that need to be done soon! I leave for Gulf Wars in about 2.5 weeks!

Well, TennRen is now officially over. We spent the better part of today cleaning up, breaking down, and hunting for a branch of the boss man's bank (which we did find). Did the quilt show thing today... The show quilts were as cool as ever, but I have to admit I'm glad that the show separates out handmade quilts and machine quilts into different categories. We toured a couple houses yesterday, and the second of the two seems like it has possibilities. I've passed on word to Mark that I would think it was one to pursue. I'm not getting attached to it (yet) but it was definitely somewhere I could happily live.
