A good day sofar
We toured a couple houses yesterday, and the second of the two seems like it has possibilities. I've passed on word to Mark that I would think it was one to pursue. I'm not getting attached to it (yet) but it was definitely somewhere I could happily live.
My mother-in-law is picking me up today, and I'm headed to Paducah with her for the AQS Quilt Show. I'm not working the show this year, just visiting family and looking around for the fun of it. Mom is trying to turn me into a quilter as well as a seamstress, and this rate she may succeed someday! Run away, Phil, run away!
Speaking of sewing, I need to keep at it. I've got to finish new costumes for myself and Susan, since the Hampton Blackbeard Festival has been added to my itinerary for the year. Argh! Neither of us have anything quite appropriate in the wardrobe yet.
