Hey all! Got back from DragonCon in Atlanta the other day, where I got to meet Karl Urban! Squee!

I was able to watch his panel on DCon TV, which was great. He was so freaking funny! When they introduced him it went something like, "You know him from Judge Dredd (clapping), Star Trek (clapping) and Almost Human (THUNDEROUS APPLAUSE)". Yeah, fan ( Read more... )

Be still my beating heart! Karl Urban just signed on today to appear at DragonCon in Atlanta in August! This is now worth my entire price of admission to the convention. :-)  To say I'm getting a photo op with him is a given. SQUEE! Now we can only hope that they'll get Michael Ealy as well. A friend of mine on Facebook went to Karl's panel yesterday at Emerald City con. I asked her if he mentioned Almost Human & she said:

The talks are still going on. Should know within 4 weeks according him. He didn't say how promising it looked but the fact the talks are still going on is good

I had the pleasure of meeting Karl on Saturday, and attending the screening of AH. Let's just say it went over very well with the audience :D
