That first set of gifs makes me think that someone needs to give Dorian the "when one robot likes another cop very, very much..." birds & the bees speech. :D
It sounds from the pilot like Dorian is very, very human, but it would be entertaining if he were only robotic in that way (kind of like that Futurama episode with the mermaid, if you know what I mean).
They HAVE to do robot sex, right? Because Dorian is adorable and everyone will be wondering if he has more in common with Data than he lets on. Though it may be more challenging in a non-Trek context to introduce sex pollen.
(Oh, wait, it's the future. They definitely have sex pollen in the future--otherwise, what is science good for?)
Thank you so much for the summary! Karl's comment that "J.J. is a big fan of robot porn" with his disingenuous newscaster outro was a highlight for me, but I also loved Lili's cosplay coat and Michael tickling Karl with the water bottle.

FACT. And he's been equally attractive in a subtly different way for every year of his life (after age 18, of course). The details change, but the nose remains, as ever, PERFECTION.
Any word on what the broadcast situation will be like for our European friends? I'm sure the Internet will make it available in some way, but it would be great if it were picked up by German TV.

Loved the coat as well and how much it looks like Michael and KArl get on.
