He was your prince in shining armor!!!!

I'm so sorry that he didn't make it to the Star Trek Con here in Boston in June. I was so looking forward to meeting him.

And he smelled like spearmint!

I'm sure he'll be back around. He seems to enjoy cons.

wow. that is awesome. I love hearing about these types of things, it makes my estimation of actors (especially in a con environment) rise.

More importantly, I'm glad you were able to have a positive, accessible con experience (at least in this one regard - cons are ridiculously inaccessible in general - I work in accessibility so *headdesk*).

Similar, my cousin has autism and I took her to her first con last year where she was super excited to meet Charisma Carpenter. And Charisma was absolutely fabulous with her, I was so pleased.

This was my first con. It was fairly accessible save for the VIP afterparty. The elevator to the sisewalk on that side was out of order, and the pedwalk was obstructed by a remodeling project, but the vendor hall and celebrity area were perfectly accessible, much to my delight.

And I have no doubt Karl meant it when he said he would come to me if he had to. He had his Eomer face on:p

I had all kinds of reservations about Dragoncon because of its size.
