lol I love that Dylan's like oh shit, am I really a Prince now?

Uh, dude. You married a Prince. That's the sort of thing that happens, man. You're royalty now.

I also love that he stood up for Ayli even if her opinions on Zimaran customs aren't very favorable. It's a good way to show that he's more set out for this sort of thing than he thinks, because he's going to have to find a way to bridge the gap between Earth and Zimara in some way.

Since Dylan is going to have some kind of ambassador-ish position, it's good that he is able to speak his mind and be intelligent (if impulsive) about it. Dylan kinda really sucks at school (despite knowing what a Mobius strip is), but he's not stupid, at least. I wouldn't say he's even "street smart" per se, but he's got a functioning brain.

Lol me and my characters with their ridiculous denial!

Darn it, I started commenting earlier and got distracted. Dylan's got some almost Devin level denial going on in this story. You Soulbonded with a Prince - what did you think was going to happen?

I like how he defends Ayli's right to voice an opinion he doesn't agree with. It's interesting how he doesn't really believe in the "freedom" people claim to have in his country but he takes it as a matter of fact that people should have a right to speak their minds.

I enjoyed this. :)

Dylan may either be more of an Earthling than he thinks he is (probably true, really), or else he believes in his country's stated ideals while thinking the National States is full of shit (which it is) and hating their rhetoric because they don't follow said ideals in practice.

Yup, he's got Mega Denial going on here. I can't resist making my characters have ridiculous levels of denial.

Glad you're enjoying this! :)
