We just had our engagement photos done in St. Augustine today. It was our first time working with our photographer, and she is just wonderful. Together we wandered around historic downtown, despite the clouds, wind, and occasional raining. The teasers she posted after getting home look lovely, and I can't wait to see the rest!

So far, finding a caterer has been the hardest and most frustrating part of wedding planning. I've already waded through the huge number of caterers available, narrowed my list and contacted the short list and gotten a few proposals. Hello! I just happened across this today and it was great timing as we're getting down to the wire on choosing a wedding location. We've gotten quotes from about 30 locations found through HereComestheGuide.com and WeddingCompass.com already, but only 3 or 4 are even near our price range.

Next week my fiance and I are going to our ceremony/reception venue to select our menu and do a cake tasting (yum). I'm trying to think of questions I should ask while we're there. I know I want to ask how many people are seated at each table. And ask about our rehearsal. What else, if anything, should I ask?
