So far, finding a caterer has been the hardest and most frustrating part of wedding planning. I've already waded through the huge number of caterers available, narrowed my list and contacted the short list and gotten a few proposals. So, I dunno if it's just me, but based on the knot's pre-populated per item budget (and a few other budget tools), the calculations are budgeting $1,600 for a DJ.  Is it just me, or does this seem insane?  I can't imagine spending that much money on a DJ.....thoughts ( Read more... )

I'm still waiting to get my dress in [should be here next month], but I know I'll need some alterations. I ordered my dress from Alfred Angelo in Lancaster, PA, but that's 90 minutes from where I live and totally inconvenient for fittings and such.
