So, I dunno if it's just me, but based on the knot's pre-populated per item budget (and a few other budget tools), the calculations are budgeting $1,600 for a DJ.  Is it just me, or does this seem insane?  I can't imagine spending that much money on a DJ.....thoughts ( Read more... )

Can anyone recommend a good, reasonably priced DJ in the DC area? The one my hotel recommended is $2,000 for 4 hours! They're having a 70% off sale right now, so that knocks it down to around $550, but that still seems like a lot ( Read more... )

 Does anyone in the DC/Northern Virginia (and possibly souther Maryland) area know of a good tailor for wedding gowns? 

So, I scheduled our engagement photo session for January 4th, 2009! I'm very excited, which is unusual since I generally don't like  having my picture taken. Now that I know for sure it's happening, I realize that I have no idea what to wear.
