The Thornhill Village Festival was great, as always. It was bigger than it was last year, with Yonge Street closed all the way to Clark. There was lots of music, a lot more vendors, a dog costume contest, and just more stuff.

I'm not sure what's causing my insomnia this time. Perhaps depression, which is exacerbated by realizing it's the end of summer, and I HATE the end of summer. It's been a gorgeous day today. At first it was cloudy and gloomy, but then the sun came out when we were walking home from the mall. It hit the low 40's Fahrenheit. We saw more geese flying in from the south, and quite a number of trees have thick red, yellow, or pale green buds on them.
