The Thornhill Village Festival was great, as always. It was bigger than it was last year, with Yonge Street closed all the way to Clark. There was lots of music, a lot more vendors, a dog costume contest, and just more stuff.

Today I decided to enjoy the sunny day and cloudless blue sky by taking a walk to Pamona Mills Park. The colours have just started to turn! I plan on walking around Thornhill with Nikkol in a couple weeks when the colours really start exploding.

Urban Cat Relief had their annual yard & bake sale last Saturday, and they did quite well, earning a lot of money to cover rising vet bills. Trevor and I hung around for a few hours until the sale was over, and at the end of the day we got to take home as much as we wanted to because we're part of the UCR family. It's 19*C outside with a predicted high of 21*, the sky is grey-white, the apples are red on the trees in the back yard, and some trees are beginning to change colours. I've been on Cipralex for over a week. I didn't really expect to feel any changes yet, and I really haven't. I've been experiencing headaches, occasional nausea, insomnia, trouble staying asleep, and more depression and racing thoughts than usual. Seltatia (my Draenei paladin) is three bars into level 21 now, and it's suddenly getting difficult to play her. If I venture anywhere outside Bloodmyst and Azuremyst, there are frigging zombies everywhere and once one attacks, she gets turned into a zombie too and gets immediately attacked by the Alliance, her own faction! Verdict on the oatmeal and cucumber & comfrey soaps used for my face: A+! I use the c&c one with its toning properties at night, and the gentler oatmeal with its slight exfoliating texture in the morning.
