Enjoyed a beautiful day here yesterday, and took the opportunity to a little picture-happy with the camera. My mom leaned over to my wife at one point and asked, "How many pictures does that camera hold??" I took that as a small clue to stop holding up the group quite so much. Here's to holiday weekends - especially when they coincide with tax return time! The wife planned this little excursion, based out of the very fine Boardwalk Plaza and we are enjoying excellent service and the best of amenities. And today "it" was a quiet solo paddle. I revisited a place the wife and I had been to earlier in the year and enjoyed powerful quiet, and calm water. Today is the wife's birthday! We are off on a little adventure, enjoying the beautiful scenery of autumn in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
