Birthday Weekend

Today is the wife's birthday! We are off on a little adventure, enjoying the beautiful scenery of autumn in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Today the rain caught up with us a bit, and we decided to go underground, literally. The wife has never been in a cave, so off to Luray Caverns we went. It was beautiful and amazing, and reminded me of when, in my younger years, I went spelunking in less commercialized locals. Near the end of the tour, the guide turned off the lights to let us experience the full impact of underground darkness....and when he turned them back on the wife and I got caught by the group doing some serious necking. We left that tour guide with a hefty tip in his hand ; )















We are now hunkered down snugly in a very comfortable hotel, and I am signing off of here to go enjoy the rest of this very special day!
