Life is Pretty Good

Last night I had my final night of class, and it flew by. As usual, I came home so wired with all I had learned that I was ummm...a tad annoying to the wife. I have to remind myself sometimes that me learning the details of the Horizontal Type Mask Tool may not be as exciting to her as it is to me. Still, she induldges me in a way that makes me feel like a school kid giddy and important and proud with new informaton.

This past weekend I worked Friday night til early (6 am kind of early) Saturday morning. I slept for awhile and then got up and did a whole lot of not much for the rest of the day Saturday. The wife had gotten the house in good shape, so we decided to take off on a day trip Sunday. We headed off to St. Michael's and Tilghman Island. We had a bistro bite to eat, and then hit the many quaint little stores, having a blast both window-shopping and making purchases. We found Christmas presents for two family members, as well as locating some great books for us. Our favorite is Walking in Circles Before Laying Down, which we are reading aloud to one another and thoroughly enjoying together.

All in all, we had a wonderful day laughing, exploring, and just BEING together. We laughed our butts off together more than once, perhaps most notably when we found a brochure advertising at the top of the opening page: "Adult Toy Rentals!" Thanks, but I'll buy my very own at Fetish Auctioneer!
