I had a great time yesterday.  I went to the beach and hung out with foxesdaughterand justindecent. We had drinks and conversation, and went out on the lake in kayaks. I wore my slutty bathing suit. For the first time ever I kind of feel like skipping Pride Weekend.  I still want to go to the dyke march, but there doesn't seem to be a brunch happening this year, which was always my favourite part of the weekend.  Yet I understand what an enormous task these things are to organize, and I can't blame people for not wanting to do it forever.

Awesome biwot brunch. The food and company were delightful. Awesome Take Back The Dyke March. It really felt historic to be marching along Queen and up University to Queen's Park. I'm trying to get myself in shape for Pride, both mentally and physically.  I'm losing body fat but not weight - wtf?  I doubt I'm gaining muscle.   I'm determined to get my hair cut today, although given what I want I'll have to go to some place near work.  I love the places near home, but I can only communicate so much with pantomime.  My chinese ( Read more... )
