The No Apologies event was freakin' awesome! All dances should be preceded by a 5-hour conference with plenty of discussion. What a great way to connect with people and make friends. This past week I went to a conference of the American Academy of Religion in Atlanta, Georgia. My paper was well received, and had an audience of about 42 members.   I plan to work it into an article when I have the time.  Will I ever have time again? After work I stopped into the market to get some juice.  Moths have been eating my sweaters but all I can find to stop them are bags of mothballs, which I can just picture the cats carrying around in their mouths.  Not good.  So i stopped into a store to see if they had cedar chips or something.  I was carrying my purse and a canvas bag with juice ( Read more... )

Awesome biwot brunch. The food and company were delightful. Awesome Take Back The Dyke March. It really felt historic to be marching along Queen and up University to Queen's Park. The crowd was more energetic than I've ever seen. And it felt fun. No police unpleasantness that I witnessed. It left me feeling like I have my country back again ( Read more... )
