Right before dinner Cam managed to knock over a can of white latex primer in the playroom, on the carpet, so we had to work hard and fast with paper towels and our steam cleaner to get it out of the carpet. Well, I don't think I will be finishing my loose gown sleeves before the weekend. I am being slow about things, wanting to do them right. I just finished hand sewing some trim to the armband, and that took the last two nights. I was supposed to have a house guest today, who was going to do a fitting for her Tudor outfit... but she ended up with many house guests of her own, so it got cancelled.
