The state of the me
So I found out through the local gluten-free grapevine that our local Great Harvest Bread Company was doing a GF bake , and unable to resist the lure of potential fresh-baked bread-tasting bread, I signed up for a $9.75 loaf. - The main floor painting project is done! Before/after pictures forthcoming. I've been working on this almost every day since the 29th of June, though it feels much longer, probably because I've not just been painting but also reorganizing, filing, sorting, cleaning and getting rid of stuff. Reduce, reuse, recycle.
In an unfortunate confluence of media influences, every time I read "their tongues wrestled" or some similar construction, I find myself imagining The Big Show and Triple H in a steel cage match. This is not condusive to ever finishing the fic ( Read more... ) -
Dehumidifiers
Anybody have recommendations on a dehumidifier? -
Color me unsurprised.
Huzzah. The bulk of painting in the bathroom and hallway is done (and my project for the rest of the summer will be to paint the stairwell with the handprints, and the rest of the peach walls in the dining room/office). Bits and pieces.
A week or so ago the sky was swirling with maple seed pods, a flurry of intersecting rapid-fire spirals. Today it was like flurries of snow; white cottonwood seeds drifting up against the house and around the trunks of the trees.
I am covered in primer. Fortunately, so is much of the bathroom.
