We took my car in on Friday and the news was bad. As in, really bad. Head gasket is the big issue. That would have been about $1,400 (before taxes). The other problems include: three wheel bearings are going, exhaust is rotting out and will need replacing soon, interior heating fan is not working, and the radiator is also leaking. My scoot ride this morning was unbelievably cold to the point I thought I was going to throw up then to where I thought I was literally near fainting (luckily, I was close to work at that point). My parents came to the city today and Dad looked at my car. He figured the thermostat is part of the problem, some blockage with the coolant is the other problem, and he took it for a drive without overheating. Sweet. So, Starscream (scooter) stalled on Monday morning on the way to work. *sigh* There was no sputtering or anything beforehand. I was at a red light and it just flat out stalled and wouldn't restart.
