This Is Our Last Goodbye...

Well, after getting very little interest from online ads and contacting auto wreckers who are all too happy to try and screw you, and much deliberation, I decided to donate Thundercracker to Teen Challenge. They're coming to pick up the car tomorrow. The deal is I get a minimum tax receipt of $400 (which was way more than auto wreckers were offering), so that'd be cool if my tax receipt was more than that, and it's for a good cause. The kids in the program get to basically dissect the car to learn mechanical skills and then they'll either sell/auction it or the parts, recycle it, use it in a demolition derby, or, if they can fix it all up, they'll use it for running errands, etc (this likely won't happen with Thundercracker because of how much is wrong with it). I'm kinda sad to see it go. I don't miss the headaches of dealing with shit going wrong with it, but I'm going to miss that sense of freedom and independence of having my own vehicle and not having to rely on public transportation, Andrew, or family/friends.

I had my roots bleached on Friday which ended with the tips of my hair going pink. My hairstylist suggested I sleep on it and see if I still liked it otherwise I would just dye it back to Manic Panic Mystic Heather. I'm not used to having blonde hair anymore! *lol* From the front and from the back, my mullet in progress. I might just wait and see how long it takes before the tips fade even more, then I'll full dye it back to the pinkish-purple colour.

I don't drink coffee everyday, but I'm thinking I may need to cut back for awhile as my tummy kinda burns afterward.

I took some photos of what I like to think of as urban artwork (graffiti, drawings, paintings, etc) around work last week. Hearts and love was the biggest theme, which made me quite happy. On the sidewalk, on a railing, and on a bicycle, love, love, LOVE! :)

I had plans to do some crafty projects today, but so far I've spent the day cleaning, putting away/doing laundry, and checking the car over. Now I'm eating and we still have grocery shopping to do and baking later. *sigh* Maybe I'll get some crafting done later.
