Last night, I had my first reflexology appointment. It was pretty neat! I didn't tell her much of anything of what's going on with the bod. As she was finishing up, she said I have nice, soft feet (woo!) and that means I'm not carrying a lot of stress, or at least it's not showing up in my feet. She said the only couple spots that were a bit on the hard side connect to my shoulders and neck so she asked if I sit at a desk all day. Yep, sure do and, yep, my neck and shoulders were quite sore yesterday after sitting in traffic with a heavy backpack on for 70 - 75 mins. She said my arms, too, from typing (you should see my poor massage therapist after I have her work my arms) and a little bit with the intestines. So, yeah, all around it was pretty cool and I would definitely do it again. She said I don't need it all that often. I probably need a massage way more often than I need reflexology.
So...my scooter died on me again. I'm not sure if maybe the battery drained or what. I got to work yesterday after the horrendous traffic and I had noticed that the light on the...um...console was rather dim as I was driving. I was going to go out for lunch and when I got past the office building, it started slowing down quite a bit. I pulled over, turned it off, and it wouldn't restart (not even with kickstart). Ended up having to get it towed home after work by CAA (yay, free ride!). It wouldn't restart last night (not turning over). So, I popped the battery out and have it on trickle charge. I'm not going to worry too much because it seems like our streak of warm weather luck is dying down so it's getting to the end of riding season anyway. If need be, it can just wait 'til next spring to get looked at.
Seriously, Facebook, why is everything marked as a "top story"? "So-and-so is sleepy and going to bed" - TOP STORY! Um...no. Fuck off.
