In the last few days things have taken a drama-free turn around the house. My mom came home from the hospital, Juan is back, and the unpacking is coming along. It's official, there's a "for sale" sign up on the lawn now. So this means that we're eventually moving sooner or later. The house has been on the market for a while but we had been reluctant to put a sign up until my mom changed her mind last week. Katsucon '09 was a blast, for the most part. It was a much needed mini-vacation and it wasn't too bad on my wallet either. Overall it was similar to Ohayocon, but if the drive time wasn't a factor I'd actually prefer Ohayocon. This update was almost delayed thanks to the kitchen refrigerator, for some reason its shelves have a nasty habit of breaking. This morning I was rudely awakened when the shelf containing all of the food that I painstakingly cooked on Sunday fell and took the food with it. Compared to the troubles and frustration of yesterday today's mood has been a complete 180 for me even down to the sunny weather. I got down to Northern Liberties to work on the group project but before going there I stopped at my local Game Crazy store. I decided to pick up a few games with a small part of my tax return.
