Compared to the troubles and frustration of yesterday today's mood has been a complete 180 for me even down to the sunny weather. I got down to Northern Liberties to work on the group project but before going there I stopped at my local Game Crazy store. I decided to pick up a few games with a small part of my tax return. I went in for a game on the PSP and the DS but left with two PSP games instead:

I originally wanted to buy both Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII and Contra 4 (for the DS) but they were sold out of Contra. (Oddly enough they did have a new copy of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.) So I opted for Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions, which isn't very different from the Playstation version. I've never played that version or the game before, so once I do pop this game into the PSP it'll be all new to me. I also went ahead and put a pre-order down for Persona 3 FES since the original Persona 3 is expensive to buy. I've not played it but I've heard lots of good things about it so I'm going to try it.

As proof of just how cool the folks at my local Game Crazy are, I was given a small figure from Castlevania and an artbook from Viking. I'm not to sure if I'd ever play or care about Viking, but I do like the artwork in the book. That's more than I ever got from Game Stop, that's for sure.

After my trip to Northern Liberties with my group members I headed to my friend's house to hang out for a while. Oh and as a side note, when filming anything and using a separate microphone, always check to make sure it's on. We got great interviews from people, but we forgot to turn on the external microphone and now we have to redo the interviews. It's pretty embarrassing... I'm glad I noticed that the microphone seemed to be off before we went home for the day, but I it wasn't soon enough to save us from having to do a redo. And by 'us' I mean 'them' because I'm not trekking back down to Northern Liberties tomorrow. (They're fine with the idea so it's not as selfish as it sounds.)

Anyway, I headed to my friend Aaron's house and hung out with him for about two hours. Earlier in the month he picked up some (Fullmetal Alchemist) DVDs on sale from his local Game Stop and gave them to me. He also gave me a copy of his Persona 3 soundtrack and I watched him play that game for a while. After watching him play and flipping through the artbook for Persona 3 I'm glad I decided to pre-order the FES Edition, the game looks awesome.

I then had Aaron connect my PSP to his PS3 to use remote play. I found it to be an interesting feature even if it ran a little slow on my PSP. I'm just sorry that my memory card didn't have enough free space to download PS1 games from the store. I'll definitely have to invest in another memory card, perhaps a 1 or 2 gig one in a few months.

Finally, I noticed that Aaron changed around his room and put up the wallscrolls that he brought while at Ohayocon. Since I had my camera I couldn't help but snap a few pictures:

-That Ghost in the Shell: 2nd GIG wallscroll is just made of awesome. I wish I had room on my wall for one.

-The same goes for this Full Metal Panic! wallscroll, but I might have preferred Sousuke instead.

-I'm missing about three DVDs in my Ghost in the Shell: 2nd GIG collector's edition box set but Aaron has the complete set.

-Can't go wrong with Tenchi Muyo.

Aaron with his Wii and PS3, and yeah I asked him to pose for the picture. XD

Now, I wonder how much homework can I do before the urge to try some of the games I brought hits me?
