A feeling of dread hangs around me today, my cell phone (the Samsung-t309) is on the way to a slow demise. It started in December when the original charger broke, so I had to go out and buy an overpriced battery powered replacement. Today has definitely been unproductive. I spent all day in bed and only managed to do some homework. I'm nearly done reading the text book for journalism history. Thanks to everyone who replied to my last post. I ended up going with the iPod Nano, though with the service plan and a case, the difference in price came up to $74 extra dollars. From the credit that I got with returning my Sandisk Sansa c140, I still had to pay a $50 dollar difference to get the 1GB Nano. I also decided to play it safe and get ( Read more... )

I just found out that I can actually credit my product replacement plan towards something other than a Sandisk Sansa. I wanted to stay within the same price range and I'm thinking about going with the iPod. (I tried the alternatives, and they didn't work out for me.) Thinking back on it, I'm glad I paid an extra ten dollars for a two year replacement plan for my MP3 player. I'm thinking about taking it back to Best Buy, since it tends to freeze up a lot on me. During the course of my usual procrastination, I came across an the story of an old, melted (still working) GameBoy in girl_gamers. I know Nintendo has pretty durable products, but I didn't know that they were that durable.
