I'm off to Otakon. For various reasons we'll be making the trip in my car. It's a little strange to be going in July instead of August, but as a result the weather is a little cooler.(Although summer here has been unusually cool.) The New Years party was a fairly mellow event. I was one of the first guests to arrive, and the turnout was small. I saw one co-worker from my area, though a few other UPS co-workers that I didn't know showed up. (With around 100 people in the building per shift it's impossible to know everyone.) I just got hired for an internship at Philadelphia Weekly. As far as I know I'll be working about three days a week from roughly 9am to 3am on a big web project. Though I won't be paid, I will receive credit for my work on the project.
