My RSS feeds never fail to inform and entertaining me on an almost daily basis. Today I came across some of the most amusing political news yet, not counting those
"terrorist fist jabs".
When deciding how to best set the tone for a
political ad one should always choose video game music, specifically from Medal of Honor European Assault, now that's heroic.
Especially if you're John McCain and the original composer of that piece supports Barack Obama, and is dismayed about his music ending up in your ad. I bet he never saw that coming when he signed the rights away for his creative works. Speaking of creative works, I wonder how much creativity it takes to get into the Guinness World Records? It's a safe bet that Mozilla set a record with
8 million downloads of Firefox 3 on their Download Day. For those of you who took part and want to remember the day,
you can even print out a certificate via Download Day's website. With my printer on the blink because of low ink, I'll pass. I could use that same $30 to fill up my gas tank this week, thanks. Or I could have participated in Dump the Pump Day and gotten a free or discounted ride on public mass transportation. Or not, considering that
SEPTA doesn't offer discounts or incentives on this nationwide event. Now, where did I leave my car keys?
