During the course of my usual procrastination, I came across an the story of an
old, melted (still working) GameBoy in
girl_gamers. I know Nintendo has pretty durable products, but I didn't know that they were that durable. I'm sure if I were to pull any one of my old GameBoys out of the closet, they'd still work (new batteries needed) without any problems. If only most electronics were that long lasting, instead of crapping out after a few years.
