Thinking back on it, I'm glad I paid an extra ten dollars for a two year replacement plan for my MP3 player. I'm thinking about taking it back to Best Buy, since it tends to freeze up a lot on me. It's a strange and sometimes annoying problem. I can't press any buttons on the player more than four times or else it'll lock up while emitting a high pitched (and painful) noise. It still locks up even with the hold switch on, so after a while in my pocket, it'll simply freeze. Using a lanyard isn't much better, since it'll swing around and hit me unless I'm sitting completely still. The only way to reset it, is to removed the battery completely. I'm not sure if and when replace the player if I'll eventually have the same problems with a new player. Sandisk Sansa c140, you're making an iPod 1GB Shuffle look good right about now.
Gah, this thing just froze on me while typing, so annoying. It makes me question Sandisk's reputation for reliability when it comes to their products, at least their MP3 player line anyway. Perhaps the Sansa series was just a bad batch, or perhaps I simply got a bad player. Well, I paid for the replacement plan, so I might as well use it soon. At least I still have my CD player, which works pretty well despite its age.
