and it's getting me down a little. Need to get a little more proactive, I guess. Sometimes I turtle up, as I call it, and actually feel a little anti-social, yet at the same time, really, really want to be hanging out with friends. It's a screwed up dynamic, but I'm sure I'll get myself out of it soon...-ish.

for my story. I have tweaked and finagled, ripped and replaced thousands of words and I still don't like my chapter four. I finally asked a friend to look at it and give me some ideas. Busy and productive week at work. Our new employee started Monday. She seems to be picking up things quickly, which is very nice. Her first week was a little more eventful than anyone expected, as she had a death in the family and had to miss a day and a half out of it.
