This past weekend Robert's friends Scottie and Kristen visited.  It was a pretty entertaining weekend, we slept in a lot (yay!!). What a fun weekend!  Saturday morning Robert and I ran the Pirates 5k over on the North Shore, and I ended up winning with an 18:01- a 1-second PR and agonizingly close to that 18:00 barrier yet again.  In 2 weeks I'll be running another 5k at BW, so hopefully this time I can deliver that breakthrough!!  Robert also ran crazy well since he's barely ( Read more... )

Robert has been sick for about a week now that consisted of 100+ degree fever and the still-hanging-on cough/sore throat/stuffy nose.  Miraculously, I have not caught this.  I have no idea how that's possible, but the "cold" that I thought was attacking me a few weeks ago is basically non-existent.  Every once in awhile I sniffle... lucky.  Poor ( Read more... )

This weekend was productive. Well, not in the studying sense unfortunately, but everything else was pretty good. Robert and I went to the Sparky Adams meet @ BW on Saturday and ran pretty well. We had a good weekend- we found cheap bookcases at Target for $15 each (we eventually went back for a second one), and I figure if they're crap, well then at least we didn't blow $150 on them like others would cost.
