How time has flown!
How in the world is it May 25 already?? 18 days to go!! We went home this past weekend to get some wedding stuff done, but first we stopped in Columbus to see Ben and Charise. Robert had fun playing video games with Ben and Charise fiddled with my hair to figure out its style for the wedding. My hair actually cooperated a lot better than usual.
This post has been interrupted by about 30 sneezes. And I'm totally not exaggerating. I hate allergies.
Anyway, we continued home Saturday and met with the Barretts, our church mentor couple or whatever they're called. It wasn't painful. Then we met with our reception place and went over some details, none of which my mom liked (what a shock). I won't go into details, but let's just say she's a pain in the pooper. Good thing she wasn't actually there. Then we met up with the Pipers where we had a mini shower (KitchenAid mixer!!) and went to LaRosas. Yum. I also had a makeup trial later on Sunday which seem to go pretty well. Mom'll hate that, too.
I've been trying to work on our wedding program. I'm attempting to make one that I think is pretty cool, but I'll probably cave and make a really simple one because DIY and me just don't mix, haha. My jewelry also came in from Etsy, it's so pretty and simple!
Can you tell I'm getting excited??
I think today will be the last day for me to move stuff out of my other apartment. Then I shall turn in keys and take my car to our new place. Can't wait to get all of these stupid boxes unpacked and be organized again!! Our goal for the place to be completely unpacked, wedding gifts included, is the fall. Speaking of wedding gifts, I keep watching our registries but it doesn't look like anything is getting bought. It's kind of sad. I hope people are just waiting until it gets closer.
Lab sucks. I really don't want to be here as my mind is not on science-y things, but somehow I need to fake it through these next 2 weeks.
