Two weeks ago we went home to Cincy. We got to check KI once again (it's been about two years for us) and had a good time, even if it was a Saturday and it was a little more crowded than we'd like. This morning we had some nasty lightning storms roll through.  Nothing apocolyptic, but some pretty cool lightning.  It was funny to watch how fast the landscapers could mow the grass from our perch on the 13th floor.  Man, they were bookin' it!  There was also a water main break on Forbes in Oakland.  Our power kept flickering in the morning, but ( Read more... )

Yesterday I went to a UPMC orthopedic and found out that my heel pain is basically some tendinitis where my achilles inserts/attaches to the calcaneous.  It feels good to finally know what's wrong!  I also have a predisposition to this condition as well as bone spurs (of which I have a teeny tiny one) due to this Haglund's deformity I have in my ( Read more... )

This has been a good weekend so far.  LeeAnne and James were in Cleveland visiting, so Robert and I drove up on Saturday and met them at the GoodTime ship and did a little 2 hour cruise.  It was great to see her again and to finally meet James, who was actually very nice and lot better than the vision I had of him when they first started to date!  ( Read more... )

This past weekend Robert's friends Scottie and Kristen visited.  It was a pretty entertaining weekend, we slept in a lot (yay!!).
