This has been a good weekend so far.  LeeAnne and James were in Cleveland visiting, so Robert and I drove up on Saturday and met them at the GoodTime ship and did a little 2 hour cruise.  It was great to see her again and to finally meet James, who was actually very nice and lot better than the vision I had of him when they first started to date!  ( Read more... )

This past weekend Robert's friends Scottie and Kristen visited.  It was a pretty entertaining weekend, we slept in a lot (yay!!). Saturday we went to IHOP for brunch and then saw Green Lantern- I thought it was a pretty good movie, Ryan Reynolds plays a good superhero. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually had a really good time at the ARCS Reception tonight.   I usually really dread these things, but somehow it wasn't as painful as usual.  Even Nydiaris and Michelle said I was a lot more poised and not as wretchedly nervous as last year.  A lot of that probably comes from actually having some research ( Read more... )

I haven't had a real update in a while! Christmas has come and gone, my mom and I had a nice time of it.  Got some good stuff, including a transmitter for my iPod in the car.. which would be even more useful if I could take my car to school!
