The ARCS Reception on Wednesday actually wasn't too bad. Not nearly as nerve-wracking as earlier years.  For one, they didn't split us up into groups this year and make us give a speech on our research, which was unusual.  There didn't seem to be as many donor/patrons there as usual either, which is odd since there are a growing number of scholars ( Read more... )
