My news of the week is that Robert has a job!!! :-D  He came up yesterday for an open house/interview type deal and got it on the spot!  It's not a teaching job, but it's education-related in that he gets to grade written responses to proficiency tests.  It runs from March to May and is in Pittsburgh!  It's pretty much awesome.  He gets to be here ( Read more... )

I got up early this morning for Journal Club, met up with Cassie in the elevator only to find Bart wandering around wondering if there is JC this morning.  Apparently there isn't.  I really could have used the extra sleep as I was exhausted yesterday and didn't sleep as well as I could have. I got a call from Robert today (who's in my apartment, actually) telling me that St. Edmunds called and they want an interview with him next Wednesday!!  Bonus: it's in Squirrel Hill!  It's practically across the street from me!  Basically, the locale is perfect, it's for 5/6 grade, part time for now with potential to be full time math and science ( Read more... )
