I meant to post sooner before too many other things happened, but those other things ate up my time to post. Vicious cycle. So let's see, I left off on Monday, so what happened after?
Tuesday: I met Alyssa up in Dayton at Panera to give her her bridesmaid dress that I picked up, but idiot me totally forgot it at home. Doh. Guess we'll have to see each other again at Christmas or something! It was good to see the old roomie again. :) That evening I also got to go to spinning again finally, yay!! This time I dragged Robert with me, but he was somewhat of a sourpuss b/c he thought it was too easy (well, that's what happens when you don't put your gears high enough!). It was good to see Valerie again, too. She's still crazy, lol.
Wednesday: Mom and I went shopping at the new outlet malls up in Monroe. I had... too much fun, lol. I can justify almost everything I bought- I needed new jeans, black dress shoes, sunglasses, etc. However, the Columbia store had awesome deals, so we splurged on new jackets. A nice $90 jacket for $37? Yes, please! Then, Robert and I met up with Jacob and Elizabeth and her new interest Chris (Peak, from high school) for some bowling at Loveland Lanes. Classy. I had a great time, I missed seeing those two, my laughing muscles hurt so bad afterward. My high was a 110, which is pretty good for me, I'll take it!
Thursday: Robert and I spent the day at Kings Island after I had a session with the chiropractor. She did ART (active release technique) on my right hip, and it definitely hurt, whoo. I don't think it helped much b/c my hip still hurt after walking around the park all day. We rode the new ride, Diamondback, twice in a row while the line was crazy short. That ride is awesome!! I thought I wouldn't like how the seats were set up, but I felt excellently secured. We also went to the waterpark in the afternoon, I haven't been there in quite a long time, high school maybe? The lines weren't bad and the sun was shining so it was great. When it got really really dark we rode The Beast in the front seat- no better time for that than pitch black back in the forest! :) We also managed to watched the fireworks from the top of the Eiffel Tower, something I've never done before. It was cool to see them at eye level. :)
Friday: I had yet another chirocracker appt, this time with the other guy in the office, and I endured another 15min of pain. It feels like the muscle is burning or something. They dig their finger into the muscle and then stretch you. Yowie. Felt good after though. Well, not my hip, but the rest of the muscles! My hip still hurt at various points during the day as usual, so I'm kind of disappointed in ART. I thought it was supposed to be my ticket out since my MRI was normal. :( Then Robert and I drove up to Findlay (after fighting traffic and breaking speed limits) for Eric Thatcher and Erica Rumschlag's (2 ONU runners) wedding. We had fun, I remained my awkward self around the ONU girls (I never know how to act around them). We sat with J.D. Walters (really good steepler from Muskingum) and Leah Stetzler from OWU (I've definitely run with her before) at the reception, they were a lot of fun. Never actually met them before though, just seen them. Erica cried through the whole wedding (cute), Eric viciously attacked her with cake (it was intense), and we did some dancing. The late drive home was wretched though, we didn't get back until after 1:30am. Had a good time, though. :) Only 10 months until ours! :)
Today: Hopefully a long bike ride with Robert at the trail and some eats. And relaxing. And hopefully getting my new 2-year phone b/c mine is being a poop. However, Robert found out today that he did not get the St. Edumund's job. :( I thought he would've been perfect for it. Those peeps don't know who they're missing out on.
