I am in Chicago! And I seem to be on Internet/fandom hiatus! I didn't really *mean* for that to happen, but it has and it seems likely to continue through most of this week.

Yesterday was really very sad, flist. My brother left me to go back to Chicago and then I couldn't access LJ or post to twitter. I can still only post to twitter sporadically. I've pretty much been offline since Christmas Eve between the family activities and the applying to grad school and the Supernatural/Cowboy Bebop marathon.

I put together the elliptical machine. WIN. I like it when I manage to put things together. I feel all competent and effective. Of course, I still can't get some of the bolts tight enough. I was half way through before I figured out that it came with a tool with which to tighten them and that I do not need to go buy a wrench tomorrow. Perhaps ( Read more... )

Did you miss me? I got home a couple of hours ago, when we finally landed after circling New Orleans for an hour because we couldn't land in the middle of the rain storm.
