(no subject)
Yesterday was really very sad, flist. My brother left me to go back to Chicago and then I couldn't access LJ or post to twitter. I can still only post to twitter sporadically. Every once in awhile something will go through, but in general it won't let me post from the website and none of my text messages (which is how I usually post) have gone through at all. But, as frustrating as that is, at least twitter explains what's going on on their website.
LJ, on the other hand, apparently blocked my IP address. It wouldn't have occurred to me to reset my modem and my router if inlovewithnight hadn't told me about a post she'd seen on friendsfriends that explained that oh yeah, LJ might have blocked your IP address. Even though NOWHERE were they saying anything about that - not that I could have seen it anyway if they had been.
I AM SO FRUSTRATED. But at least I have tricked LJ into talking to me again. Hopefully twitter will also return to me soon.
I had a great time with my brother! We watched the first season of The West Wing and a lot of horror movies and I *almost* managed to beat Portal on my XBox. We also thoroughly trashed my apartment, so I should probably go clean that now that my LJ issues are resolved and I can focus on something else.
