Hi hi hi! What's up, flist? I hope you are all well.
My parents were here and now my brother is here and so I really haven't been around much and this is likely to continue until Friday. If there's something important I missed, let me know!
Note: Things I have not missed:
1) Ryro's fake marriage! Oh, Ryan, bb. Perhaps twitter is not the *best* forum for that kind of joke? Z Berg is pretty adorable, though.
2) Hot Mess is on The Leak today so there should be a download by tonight. I'm both excited and apprehensive, but I guess they wouldn't be Cobras if there was not the potential for me to be delighted and appalled simultaneously. I mostly like what we've heard so far (though I've had to fanwank "Good Girls" and "Hot Mess" a bit), but who wants to bet that I'll be back later tonight to rant drunkenly about my opinion on "Nice Guys Finish Last" because it makes me want to punch someone? That better be self-aware irony, Gabriel, and not "edgy is the same thing as offensive." It's a fine line and I never know which I'm going to get with you.
3) MCR!!! I have never actually been that *fannish* about them, but they may be the only bandom band where I really am totally in it for the music. New album! \o/
