What a week.
First of all, I found out that my math teacher is leaving us mid way through the semester. This has me especially bummed because he is the only math teacher that I've ever really liked. Yesterday was the 7 year anniversary of the death of a friend of mine from high school. Every year I go to the Hollywood Forever cemetery where her ashes are. Yesterday was the first time I went by myself.

You know when you say a word over and over and over and soon it loses it's meaning? Apparently that's called Semantic Satiation. I guess it was naive of me to never consider that something like that would have a title, but still I think it's cool. I'm not sure how to pronounce "satiation" though.

I've been trying to get in the habit of walking in the park if I'm too lazy or sick to go to the gym. It's so close to my house and I know the trail like the back of my hand since I've grown up next to it. Also it temporarily sates my desire for a dog because I'll walk my mom's dachshund Dutch. I understand that the majority of republicans and religious zealots are against abortion. At least I can understand their arguments generally: appreciating the sanctity of life, it's against God's will (despite my agnosticism), abortions are not a form of birth control, and the like.
