...Easier read as: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 2...
was so full of epicness that it gets it's own blog post.
I just got back from the midnight showing at City Walk with Roxana and her husband Kevin, Luis, Michelle, Ryan. Roxy's brother Oscar, and his wife and step daughter, met us there for the movie. I wore my knitted Ravenclaw scarf, while Roxy and Kevin were fully dressed in Hogwarts student uniforms with robes. It was full of awesomeness. I do wish they hadn't have added the epilogue. I always thought it was a little lame, but I understand how people want closure. I might have liked it better as one of those post-credits clips, but that's not classic Pottermovie style. I didn't cry as much as I did when I read it.
When I read it I basically cried from the point of Dobby's death on, which would have meant crying through this whole movie. I shed some premature tears when I know the Snape-death+memories scene was coming up, to then all-out ball when it arrived and ended. I cried more at that, and the death of my dear beloved Fred Weasley it should have been George! than at the fact that the series is ending, like many of the audience members were.
Epic. I don't believe I blinked once, even throughout the tears.
