Birthday was good. Got a haircut. Did some homewares op-shopping (didn't find anything, Q got a bit o glassware). Made a vegetarian moussaka. Finally assembled my Ikea-mod-wardrobe [1]. 3 auctions this Sat plus a couple more inspections.  All 3 are nice, but I think the best one is the last.  However, it has tenants until May, and although we could kick them out, that could be rude and the process could be troublesome...(although, really, it's only a few more months post settlement if we just wait till lease finishes);

Like ozzer ppl, I has new phone.  Old phone and particularly the phone charger were rather dodgy, and I was spending valuable minutes fiddling and refiddling every time I needed to recharge.  A new charger also cost like $40 (and that phone was only worth $75 retail several years ago).  So I finally got a new handset.  Is reasonably fanshy, ( Read more... )

Ha! Just got a phone call from someone who saw our ad for a housemate in the paper. It wasn't about the room though.
